Went for the cinnamon roll pancakes, bustling energy of the Saturday morning crowds, and fast service! It did not disappoint. The pancakes are huge and delicious as advertised. They even had GF cinnamon roll pancakes that my husband could enjoy. Great food, service, and atmosphere. Eat well and get out! We did just that...

This is a great college diner restaurant. I went here for breakfast after the little 500 and the options made it hard to decide. Thankfully I was there with 3 other people so I was able to sample many options. I chose the lox bagel. I was not disappointed. It had every ingredient I would have wanted and tasted devine. The breakfast tacos were also delicious. My partner opted for the turkey sausage which I felt was a better choice for the flavor. I only drank water, but the coffee smelled good. Our server was very nice and on top of our drink refills. I don't make it to Bloomington too often, but this was a great way to start Sunday morning.

Village Deli is my favorite breakfast spot in Bloomington. The cup of coffee is surprisingly good for a diner environment. The staff is always friendly and quick to serve you. My favorite thing there is the bagel with lox. It has a good amount of salmon and enough toppings too. The cream cheese is not overpowering. I wish they had other flavors of bagels besides plain but the bagel is good. The bacon is always cooked well and tasty. The home fries are some of the best I have had. They are seasoned well and the perfect bite size! Overall a great place for breakfast. There is usually a wait but they are honest with the times.

My friends and I took our day off from school to enjoy breakfast together and we were all very pleased! From our server, Sebastian who was very kind and attentive to the amazing food! The atmosphere was very wholesome and welcoming! Will definitely be coming back!

Friendly service and great food! I ordered the build your own omelette with egg whites, bacon, onions, and salsa! It was great! Most breakfast places do not make good egg white omelettes but the one I had here was amazing! For my side I ordered sourdough toast and it was also good. The portions here are pretty big (I only was able to finish about half my food) and the food came out quick! Great breakfast if you’re in Bloomington!

Went on a Sunday morning and was told it would be about 30 minutes until our table was ready. It was worth the wait. We shopped for a bit next door until we were called. Ordered the Paxton potatoes with two eggs up top. The mix of potatoes, sausage gravy, cheese and eggs in a bowl is a delicious combination. Highly recommend the Paxton potatoes and the Deli.

This place is a Bloomington classic. I always love going here when I’m in town. Their menu has a good amount of options, everything is fresh, and the staff are always great. I love the scrambles, but am definitely a big fan of their pancakes too.

Downtown Bloomington staple breakfast joint know for their pancakes and snarky/fun attitude. In reality, the serverers are fun and prompt and the food really is incredible. Pancakes are huge, THICK, and fluffy. The corned beef hash is home made (not processed). Serving sizes are substantial and we all took food home. Highly reccomend The Village Deli and look forward to stopping back in next visit.
